The purpose of this group is two-fold: First I'd like to welcome all lovers poetry and offer them a forum to showcase their work. Secondly, I'd like to use this plateform as a means of supporting the homeless. Although admission is FREE, all participants MUST bring to each slam, two canned goods to be donated to the homeless. As the head of the group, I can proudly say that I've completed a novel, including heavy revisions, and very nearly have an agent! So any help you'd like on that front can also be offered.
