Poetry surrounds us in music, plays, prayer, and some prose. It's the most ancient form of communicating stories across generations. Yet, many of us are intimidated by "Poetry." I don't understand much poetry, but I enjoy it even when I don't grasp it. I find opportunities to discuss poetry in a low key, friendly, intelligent environment to be wholly lacking. We envision this group as a collective of artisans and creative thinkers, who wish to participate collaboratively on the construction of some short films (actually video for the most part but "film" better describes the feel of the end product.)
