Poetry surrounds us in music, plays, prayer, and some prose. It's the most ancient form of communicating stories across generations. Yet, many of us are intimidated by "Poetry." The intent of this Meetup Group is to build a social corridor on 3rd Ave. between E & I in the Lower Ave's. 3rd Ave has been marked as an area of interest to the mayor of Salt Lake City. Two Creek Coffee House and the Avenues Bistro on 3rd have embarked on building a community asset. Meetups and events hosted at either of these two locations will be posted here.
