This is a group for people who wish to get together and celebrate the ancient art of poetry -- that is, the expression of thought through structured verse. We invite people to make use of tried-and-true traditional poetic structures --- as well as to be playful, experiment and play around with new poetic structures.

We are a group of writers interested in sharing our ideas and talents. We operate using a Writing Workshop model, which means that we bring in copies of our work to share and critique for each other at each meeting. We hope that, in doing this, we will foster each others' creativity and provide valuable feedback for each other at all stages of the writing process: getting started, working on developing our projects, and even marketing our work.
