This Meetup is for anyone who loves poetry and/or performers looking for an atmosphere to peform their work or to hear great poetry.  We conduct events each month for lovers of this art to include : The @ttic - a once a month showcase poetry event, Graffiti DC - a once a month slam event for 18+ crowd, and Busboys & Poets - an open mic hosted by Beny Blaq once a month.

Meetings will not just be inside, but bars and coffee houses are good locations. In good weather activities can be combined with nature walks, hikes, and trips to museums for poetic inspiration.
