I am creating this group to bring together like-minded folk who share the love of poetry. I'd love to meet people who have time to get together at least twice a month to share ideas and poems. I hope we can all help each other become better writers and give inspiration and motivation to one another.

Hope to form an intimate group of people for readings/discussions centered around poetry and philosophy. I want the "meetup" to be casual. That is-I envision us sitting around a table at a local pub...bring your own work or another's. Once I have a few onboard we can schedule a place/time to meet. It will be somewhere along the north shore. Most likely on a sunday afternoon.

This is a group for anyone who finds themselves writing and reading and wants to share their enthusiasm with others. I envision meet-ups where we share and provide constructive feedback on each other's work, perhaps have assignments where we write in a certain form or on a particular subject, and maybe even share our work with the general public on occasion.
