The Saturday Afternoon Poetry Workshop at Beyond Baroque happens every Saturday at 1:30 pm and ends at 4:30. The facilitator is Bob Foster. Poems are read and critiqued in a supportive and friendly atmosphere. All levels of expertise/experience are welcome! Bring at least 10 copies of your poem (which should be no longer than two pages). The workshop is free and meets in Beyond Baroque's bookstore at 681 Venice Boulevard in Venice, California.

A 2-hour long class once a week on Wednesdays In the first hour, the moderator brings in a topic related to poetry or prose (e.g., Metaphors Galore, Writing from the Deep Voice, Dialetic poems, Structuring your work, Subtext, etc), explains it and shows examples of it.
