The Saturday Afternoon Poetry Workshop at Beyond Baroque happens every Saturday at 1:30 pm and ends at 4:30. The facilitator is Bob Foster. Poems are read and critiqued in a supportive and friendly atmosphere. All levels of expertise/experience are welcome! Bring at least 10 copies of your poem (which should be no longer than two pages). The workshop is free and meets in Beyond Baroque's bookstore at 681 Venice Boulevard in Venice, California.

For all those who love spiritual poetry of any kind -- Rumi, Neruda, Saint Teresa, Hafiz, Hildegard of Bingen, Rilke, Mary Oliver, Mirabai, Gerard Manley Hopkins, Robert Bly -- whoever inspires you, takes you to a transcendent space, fills you with a sense of the beyond or infinite beauty that can't be contained.
