Thy Reality
They eagerly divide what’s left of me. Soul and heart go wanting. Unwanted, unheeded, No ones fool but my own. Muscle, blood and bone for the butcher’s bill when it’s due. Dreams of you ripping away the comfort in sleep. No more does the dark beacon and bid me rest. A new hell awaits when I close my eyes. My heart is heavy and near to breaking and still they come Day after dim, empty day Waking to the fact that despite what I dream you’re gone. |
