April 17 meeting recap

Tonight's meeting included Fran, Denise, Susan and (new member) Thomas.

Our simile workshop proved challenging, but resulted in some interesting poems. If you want to do the workshop at home, let me know and I'll send you the exercise.

Open forum, as usual, was a great time. Thomas shared some of his published work and the group was so impressed by his talent! We hope we didn't scare him away, hopefully the java and cookies help to lure him back in May.

To all that couldn't make it tonight: keep writing and hopefully we'll see you at the next Meet Up on May 1. Be sure to RSVP, it makes us feel good! :-)
