The Denver Poetry Meetup

Meet other local poets (and people who love poetry) to share your work and have fun! Open to beginning writers, those who haven't written for a while, and those who want to actively publish their work. After an initial organizational meeting, we can explore a different poetry form each month (free verse, sestinas, sonnets, experimental, and slam poetry) and attend (and participate in) local poetry readings together. The group events are a mixture of workshop and social hour. Membership is free, but occasional $1 donations are suggested to help defray the group's operating costs.
