A very big THANK YOU to EVERYONE who sent in submissions. If you weren't included in this issue, do not lose heart. Please, keep doing your best work and send in something for Issue Two. Deadline for submissions for Issue Two is May 27. Issue Two will be posted on June 1.

Again, thank you to everyone who contributed, reposted bulletins, or otherwise assisted in the creation of the Spirit Caller net-zine. You are appreciated.

Special thanks to Bruce Isaacson at Zeitgeist Press for permission to include poetry by David Lerner. http://www.zeitgeist-...

Submissions now being accepted for Issue Two (to be posted June 1). Deadline for submissions is May 27.

Keep in mind that your work doesn?t necessarily have to be anything like the contents of Minus One or Issue Zero, but the editor does have a strong appreciation for expressions of the darker nature. We seek to publish the paradoxically all-at-once brutal and beautiful. We seek to explore all aspects of human existence. We seek not to depress you with this material, but to demonstrate that you are not alone in your pain and frustration. We seek to shine a light in the darkness and show that there are many paths to better places. We seek material that is both politically informed and spiritually aware.

Wanted:
Poetry
Prose
Humor
Photography
Art
Music (send mp3)
Video (send link to video host)

Send three to five poems, pages, or images to spiritcaller.net @ gmail.com

There are no restrictions on content. No forbidden subject matter, we don?t believe in "bad words", just bad attitudes. No restrictions on length, send us your otherwise unpublishable epic. If we like it, we like it.

A word of warning: the editor is heavily biased in favor of free verse and against traditional forms, rhyme and love poetry. Of course, there are always exceptions. So, be exceptional!

Acceptance within two weeks of receipt. Rarely comments on rejected material.

Pays: satisfaction of validation, publication credit, and bragging rights.

Rights: SpiritCaller.net reserves the right to post submitted material to the website (until such time as the internet implodes) and inclusion in a print anthology. All other rights retained by original authors and artists.

The site may not be pretty, but we are more concerned about content than appearance. If you are one of those people who are more concerned about how it looks than how it is, then you are probably not right for Spirit Caller.

Write on!
