Spoken Word Poetry competition in McKinney. Come to watch, meet, or compete! Poetry is judged by up to five random audience members. There will be an Open Mike at 7pm, with a warm-up poet at 7:30.

We Slam at Saxby's Coffee in McKinney, on the second Saturday of each month.
Saxby's Coffe does a great job of supporting the contest, and we're really looking forward to another great Slam!
Slam rules will be in accordance with the National Poetry Slam Foundation www.poetryslam.com and are available at www.mckinneyslam.com .
