Strange things.

Hello Everybody,

Well it looks like we are going to have some art work on this site pretty soon. I have been in contact with some artists who are willing to do it. I've only seen one rough sketch (Which I like and is giving me ideas).

However, there is one problem. I seem to be creating some sort of competition between three artists. One of them I haven't been in contact with (He has emailed me about it a few times), one wants $225, and the other just wants credit.

The reason why I am mentioning artwork is that I want to put together a newsletter. But it is not just presenting our own work within this group, but other poets in the English Speaking world as well. I am thinking about doing those Coffee House type newsletters as well as putting them online in PDF files. We'll discuss the newsletter in more details at both meetings if anybody has some more ideas and suggestions about it.

Other than that, the next Meetup will be on Saturday, May 17th. For more information go to The Calgary Poetry Saturday Meetup. And the week after that, we also have another Meetup on Wednesday, May 21st. There will be more information on that one in the coming weeks.
