Hey everybody

Have you ever wanted to get you work looked at by published poets?
Have you ever wanted to play word games-that would help your poetry grow.
Do you want to take part in a world wide book of poetry that can be purchased at Barnes & Noble, Amazon and Borders?

Well Your fearless leader Russ Golata is a site administrator on a poetry forum that is a big yes to all of these questions.

Here is the link http://artisticpoets....

The place is called Artisticpoets --and it is a fun place to join in and have fun, or just sit bback and read.

Try it out --It will make you laugh--Oh i also post all the details of these very meetups on the site--and other events around the Orlando poetry community..

Make this an international festival of poetry.

One option is POEM IN YOUR POCKET DAY--APRIL 17th
(that's this Thursday)

Make a copy of a poem--Your own or a poem that you like enough to share with
somebody.--and Do just that--
Give this poem to another person--you can read it to them
Or just give it to them and let them read it on their own..
The whole thing will be great fun.

There is a spot on the forum in works to tell us what poem you are
sharing--because we would like to hear about it too.

Some great poetry on the forum!

As your new Administrator I would like to share one of the reasons I keep
coming back--as Poetryvine--crashed and burned--and our first incantation went
up in smoke--ITS THE POETRY
IT"S ALL ABOUT THE VERSE
Only you can make this place work. The poetry on this site is a cut above any
like it on the web. I have made some life long friends
from Australia, Tennessee, Guatemala, Arizona, and Los Angeles.

Some poems that you should read(please note it's all good)

Political thread--Frank Gibbards Torch--this poem is current and rocks with
life--it moves with a message--

In WORKS: JD--stepped out and wrote a poem totally different than his usual
style--Go read Conflict of Interest--Nice Work Buddy!

(works is so hard to pick one or 2 poems--because so many are solid)

Steff with Enjoy the Cold and Esmeralda's Guilted Fires
are both wonderful as well as T.S Wilkins Dare to Dream
(sorry if I left anyone out!)

Why don't you stop by and read a couple poems and pick for yourself

WELCOME--our newest Members

and CGV--who is yet to post?

WELCOME ONE AND ALL!!!

We are a family--OOPS-started to dance
Well we are a family so don't be afraid to talk to anyone on our poetry forum.
Stop by the workshop and learn about Haiku
Senru
Sonnets
Ballads
Acrostics
You name the form we will try our very best to help you
and it is all FREEEEEEEE--WOW
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----

Because our activities on the forum has been so limited the administration is
now asking for your help.
DO NOT SPAM!
What is spamming?--Putting more than 3 poems anywhere without commenting and
joining in some of the other peoples poems.
YOUR POEMS WILL BE DELEATED-Sorry

===============================================

Just for your info we still have Love Poems that Don't Suck
Our 2nd artisticpoets forum book available
here is the link http://www.lulu.com/c...

And one of our members--forbiddenluvah--AKA Rita James
just released "Through the Eyes of a Sinner"
Stop by and pick this up I am sure you will enjoy it..

here is that link
