Dave Bennett, originally from Ohio, has been a Florida resident for thirteen years. Dave has a BA in art and speech/theatre and an MFA in costume, scenic and lighting design. He has worked with clients such as former President Jimmy Carter and astronaut Wally Scharra. He has been a guest costume designer for Rollins College theatre department and the Ice House theatre in Mt. Dora. He is the author of a collection of free verse poetry titled Live Love, that features 4 distinct voices

    •  The first night in our new 1st Tuesday home-we had a wonderful variety of talent and styles. Dave Bennett was a wonderful feature. Wahid,, Trinette, Peter, Professor Stymie, Luke, Robyn, Adam, Ryan, Jonell, and a large group of people that just came out to support the poets, made for a wonderful first night. THANKS TO ALL WHO CAME OUT--See you next month Lets keep the fun rolling!

       terrific crowd, inspired poets. a superlative night. 
    •  It was a great time. I appreciated the diverse mix of people and poetry styles. Beginners and published poets were equally welcomed. I would def attend again. Trinette 
    •  Great venue! Lots of spectators. Many readers. Lively crowd. I hope all of the Tuesdays are like this!
