Poetic Colla’ge (PC) is a mixture of worldly occurrences and spiritual flavor, culminating into a style PC has titled “Writing Life.” Through their poetry they offer strength, knowledge, guidance, power, healing and love. Poetic Colla’ge is made up of two constant voices George (Naptali) Carty and P.J. (Empress) Crosby. Both voices, whether individual or combined bring their own unique flavorful seasoning to the collage

    •  Austin's was Poppin with a fantastic double feature and awesome open mic. Unreal from San Francisco(AKA Mumbles, Dustee, and Dunce) set the tome for a night that just kept getting better. Poetic Coll"age then took the stage by storm, blending their unique and multifacited spoken word that left the audience realing. Music song and spoken word poetry it does not get any better than that. Then we had the open mic readers--Moses was in fine voice, Vikki read for a first time and was great, Julian rocked and so did Kyle who had us laughing. Tam Tam the sandwich man entertained with a piece he read for Austin's. Lilly read a piece she had not shared in a couple years.--Robyn--bent over backwards and fell--showing us the wonders of a swiss burger. Thankds everyone for making this night special for all those who were in attendance

The Poetic Colla'ge was annoying. It was like a musical where the songs didn't end and there was little rhyme or reason to it. I really enjoyed the other poets who put there best work forward. They didn't need to put on a rediculous production. They conveyed an thought or three and got off the stage. You connected with a single emotion and then had time to savor it for a second before another one was conveyed without warning or cause.
