Colleen Dieckmann hails from both her native Chicago and her teen home in Kentucky. Colleen earned her Creative Writing Masters from Murray State University and studied under Lucille Clifton in the University of Memphis MFA program. Known as Crazy Colleen in the spoken word scene (CrazyColleen.com), Featured and guest readings include Nashville, Chicago, Murray, Memphis, and Tucson. Currently writing editor and instructor for local schools including UCF and VCC.

    • “ Colleen is a wonderful poet, with her starting us off- it just kept getting better. Jeanelle showed us that age doesn't matter and So did Richard Maxwell, We had Professor Stymie show up and open up a great spoken word thread. Add in Cee and Brian and Rhode talked about the States and we all know what a state that puts Rhode in. Add in Robyn and her colored shirt poem. So it was truly a great night--as Usual Bad Ass provided the Kona Coffee -Par excellent Thanks all of you for showing up and taking part in a great Night ”
