About The Orlando Poetry Meetup Group

This is an open Welcome to poets of all types.

We have Free Verse, Spoken Word, Rhymers, Flash Fiction, bits and pieces, rants and raves, politcal bits, even the occassional musical accompaniment and any and every other type of word imaginable

The group promotes open discussion of each others work, and considering how controversial we can be, that is saying A LOT.
There are many open mic poetry venues, but they pale compared to us.

All we ask is that you respect each other's work, be open minded and enthusiastic.
