OPEN POETRY READING

*This is a successful monthly open poetry reading that takes place on the last Saturday of every month at The Gardens Memorial Park.

*It is perhaps the most unique venue you will ever encounter for a poetry reading. The Gardens Memorial Park is a modern indoor cemetary and art gallery, complete with mausoleums, crypts, urns, and artwork on the walls from several talented local artists.

*Complimentary refreshments and snacks will be served.

*Poets are highly encouraged to bring whatever promotional materials and/or products they have to sell or give out (ex. flyers, books, CDs, bookmarks, business cards, etc.).

*Poets - arrive @ 2pm or earlier and put your name on the list to read. We will begin shortly thereafter, and go down the list in order, giving each poet roughly 10-15 minutes of time on the mic.
