The Grand Finale for National Poetry Month!

April 30th is the Grand Slam Final to determine a team to represent the Dallas Poetry Grind
in West Palm Beach Florida this August at the National Poetry Slam! This is the Big One! Ten Poets, Three Rounds! They will be bringing the best poetry in Dallas to compete

The open mic will be suspended for this evening; however,

Starting in May and running through August-the Third Thursday night of the month will be Open Mic All Night!

Cafe Rembrandt is in Downtown Dallas on McKinney ave across the street from Hooter's and the House of Blues. It is located in the center of the Brewery building, plenty of excellent free parking, close to the West End Train Station, no cover charge, great food and adult beverages and it is a really cool space. A place avant gaurde enough to host the Velvet Kittens burlesque shows twice a month is more than capable of handling free speech poetry readings.

Sign-up begins at 8pm. Open Mic at 8:30pm and Grand Poetry Slam at 9:30pm.
